Just something I want to shareI came across this very early this morning and just felt the need to share it all of you. Hugs and Prayers Hope Easter SundayI given this in a small book by Billy Graham..I love reading what he writes as ..the messages really make me think. I was given this book shorty after my cancer returned for the third time. and I think I will buy another one if I can find it...Its pretty worn out.. I found this little snipet in there a Message for Easter: * He is risen! He is not here!* ~This message of Easter is the cental focas of Chirstianity. The apostle Paul said, * If Christ has not been raised, your faith would be futile, you are still in your own sins.*( Cor, 1 15:17) Its pretty simple in that . If Christ is still dead , then He cannot be our Savior , for He was not the Son of God, and He is dead like all men. More the that Heaven's doors will always be locked. But if Chirst has risen , as the Scriptures teach and as hundreds of witnesses testified ( no of whom ever recanted the testimony dispite threats and or death) then we have the ultimite hope of humanity~~~ eternal life with the God who made us and the certianty of life beyond the grave, What does Easter mean to you? It should mean everything because Christ has conquered death! And that should make all the difference now and forever!!~ * He is not there! He has risen!* ( Matt. 28:6) If you sit down think about those are words that changed the universe for all of us.Darkness and dispair died: hope and anticipation were born in the hearts of a men. Is we believe new joys and new life is around us, That is what Easter means to me new beginnings new life .. for those who believe. So in reading whats written. Don't leave Jesus in the manger...Or on the Cross. or in the tomb...He has Risen to be with us every minute of the day. His suffering was to be here with us to walk with us.
