For those who read here..Don't mean to offend anyone reading..but just some thoughts.
I have tried to post the past few days and had problems..

So here goes.
.You know me I have to say what I am thinking and I just have to get this out there and free up some head space.
Lately I have been wondering if stupidity and ignorance are blantenly rampent these days.. At times I think its the worst disease known to man. Cause..people don't realize they are acting this way ..Some at least.
Difficult people come in all sizes races and ages. It doesn't matter .. They come into our lifes like gangbusters. and leave us thinking just what hell happened here.
I always think wow did they really say or do that.
Whatever the offense is.
They really don't give two hoots whats happening in your life for that moment.
They rain on your parade , trip the clowns in that parade..and it doesn't matter what you feel at that moment.
Ironically if you think about it, Its not about you at all. Its about
being caught in the crossfire of their misery with themselfs and their battle is their own.
Over the years I have been angry , frustrated.. and totally hurt by some and including family.
We all have them and know em.
Now I realize its their choice and their actions.
At times I think for once if stupidity could cause pain..why doesn't it for these people. cause they cause so much of it at times..
Then I retract that feeling cause what kinda of person would I be for wishing ill fate on others.
Sighs!!
So for me its really upsetting that some act in this manner and that it could be family doing it to other family.
Then I realize most people would just move on , ignore the actions and consider the source.
So what to do?
I suppose we could move away to a far away cave .like the song says *address unknown!*
I know I know its just a thought...you know ..lol
But its a tempting thought at times..
Not to practical maybe not heathly either lol
But yeah I said a while back we are flawed ..I join the group me to.
Flawed as we are,we still need each other.
So the food for thought I guess for today is this.
Celebrate the great times....Learn from the harsh and tough times..there are lessons in them.
And this one I have learned maintain healthy boundries when you need them. And we all know at times we need them.
About family..they are awsome..some just need tune ups once in a while to get human.
Gotta love em!!

Fathers Day

Tomorrow is Father's Day.
To me there is no better friend then your Father.
Today I sat for about three hours and worked on a video for my Husband. He is my best friend and an awesome Father.
When we first met..I told him I would have his kids one day.
I know that freaked him out. And he teases me about it till this day. I knew he was an awsome caring person and would make a great father one day.
I have never regretted those words.
I was totally right he is the best Dad my kids could have.
The thing I love the best is he Lives for his family and that is what his life is about is Us.
Awsome!!
Anyway just wanted to take the time to say..
Happy Fathers Day to All the Dads in the Spaces.

I had to just let you all know the video turned out great..would of been less of a hassle to go out and buy a card,..But this how special He is to our Family. So I am off just to make sure the music is set and add it to the computer..So I can let him watch it in the morning...One problem..I have no clue to how to burn it to a cd!! Oh well..I will learn..its the thought that counts right?

This is one of my favorite photographs of my
Husband and Kids.
It was taken poolside while on a trip up to Petosky Michigan.
My family traveled there for years will growing up.
Pool time was always perfect family time for us.
Its about 4:20 in the morning and I was up working on a video for my Hubby. Finally a done deal!
Took from a photo of us when were were first going out to a photo of us now..With the all of our little family in between.
I know he is going to be shocked when he sees a homemade card and a finished cd with music.
I used a song dear to our hearts in our family.

Well I off for some sleep...I can't believe it ..The birds are all ready singing..What an awsome sound!! The sun isn't even up and there is one lone bird..out there..filling the nite with its song.
Do you suppose the street lite wakes this tiny creature?

Hey Everyone...Just wondering if others are experincing problems with the spaces today??
My complete bookmarked listed has done bit the dust and when I try to sign in ...having trouble...Nothing I have changed at all recently.
Noticed also a problem with some of my photographs...not there. UGH
Anyone else have these probelms??
Also hear as of the June 5th updates and changes in msn coming..how are urls are written...So I don't know but sure is a headache for me to day.
I will be back later...

Life 115

Okay I will admit it. I am tried and this has been a very long week.
Daughter had oral surgery on Thursday and has not been a happy camper most of the week..Thats understandable but a little goes a long way UGH !! She is doing okay the pain is not to bad..but she is mad due to the swelling..So between and the warm compresses now..She is comfortable but just whiney with me..No one else gets the rath...OMG.
I got so tired from it UGh
The of course all the Kids have been here everynight. Now thats fine..But I am having to sit down today and have a discussion..About how late and what respect is for Dad and I. Then the dish and glass issue and things just sitting around. Oh my gosh am I getting use to the Empty NEST,now or what ???? lol Does that Happen??
Anyway...I am ging to send them out for paper plates and plastic glasses..cause I am not doing dishes so late in the day any more.
Its a great day here in Michgan and sunny..Its hot out there..Monday we had the heat on and today I got the fans all blowing to cut the humidity and thought about putting the ac on. But holding off long as I can.
Hubby is at the fire hall till Monday morning then off for three days.
I am kinda glad on that. Need to get this place in shape outside and hopefully get some plants potted on the patio.
Would really love to have a bbq and maybe a bonfire..would be nice.
Monday.
I need to get a move on..Need Meds from the pharmacy and some limes. I know wierd...Limes are for in the arrangements for the tables at the Wedding. Got the roses and all the other stuff...So just need to figure out how to secure the limes around the globe. UGH..Do I look like a florist? LOL Am I getting paid for this ? Do I look like a wedding planner? Hey don't they make good money???
Anyway exciting times here and I am going to be in needed of a Vacation so...Anyone got a free room....and maybe a hot tub??? Just kiddingLOL

An Ahhhhhhhh ha Moment

Time to regroup and how do I do that without comming here to write. There you have it. I need to write and I am not deleting this Space!
Yesterday brought me lots of Ahh Moments.
Being a Parent is an awsome responibility. I have written here about that.
As my kids get older and it seems Mom and Dad are going through and adjustment period as well.
We had three kids in a five year period. It went by in a flash..I know you newer parents out there will say are your insane.
I would say back no, not really...They grow so fast.and while your in it everyday..You don't realize it and then they are teenagers and moving on to college then getting married.
I think back and it went by in a blink of an eye. Brings me to yesterday and my Daughters bridal shower.
Oh my gosh..big realization lol.
We all got up really early here yesterday to the buzzing her hair dryer and 7 am. I don't think she slept all night.
She is never a quiet person in the morning.
But she beat us all to the shower.
I sat there and thought about a ton of things and her growing up..and thought wow where did that 22 years go!!
We all just sat around talked for a bit got ready to go to the hall ,loaded the cars and left.
You know all that rain we had..Not a single drop to be seen blue skies and I mean not one cloud in the sky. Sunny as heck and just beautiful out.
We drove along the lake as we had many times to go to the hall..And My dear Becki said...*Geesh Mom the Wedding is in 6 weeks!*
I was thinking just let me get through today ..and not loose it.
Many things crossed my mind on the way there.
We got to the hall..Its a place called Gino's Surf right on the lake. The whole large room when opened is surrounded by water..With the sun shining and all the crystal and table setting with flowers its a site to see.
We had a small room but apperantly a mix up happened And we ended up with our little group in the big room..with the best veiw and the works for the day...God was working hard for us I know!
We had 52 coming and end up with 48 people ..small but intimate how we wanted it.
She was excited and her excitement got the group going..We had a lot of fun..She got great gifts and fun was had by all.
The other thing was meeting my future son in laws, Mom..since we hadn't yet..It went off fine..Although when she came in the room and saw what was done for the kids..She began to cry!
I found myself comforting her ..saying that is how I feel about both the kids. I think that she didn't realize how close we are to her Son and our daughter till that moment.
I think she felt she has missed out on a lot to this point and this is very hard on her to not be here. ( he moved her to be close to my daughter ) And that is understandable.
So it was kinda my goal for the day to make her feel very comfortable here...and enjoy it all..She said we spoiled her silly lol ..Oh well thats just me.
It was sorta cute..I had some Azelea silk ones, potted in clay pots. put foil and fancy ribbons on them...I had told my daughter and sil to give her one when we were finished.
She was like wow that can be planeted when I get home..
It was so cute..I said no you can keep it forever as a reminder of today..She couldn't comprehand..how I could do that for her. and all the rest of what was going on that day.
She was like its your day your the mom of the bride..
I gentely told her no its the KIDS day. not mine.
Her contribution she brought with her the most awsome bake goods..to share. Which was perfect to round off what I did for the day.
It was lots of fun for all.
Although I hate dressing up and fussing all of it. lol I Really do! It was worth it to see my Family all happy and smiling..and invite new members to join in the fun.
Later in the evening we all met for Rubens at a local resturant.
That is when his mom opened up . She is so quiet..I had to chuckle ...I said to her...*You have to be your work in a Library! But its okay to just let lose now !!*
She started to laugh and we did really enjoy the rest of the time we had together. His Gram and Aunt was here as well.
They will all be back for the Wedding.
So we had a great day.
As I type this..I am sitting here with all the gifts to my right and my daughter after a bout of the nerves no sleep. Is doing better.
I think she was more worried that I was going to be fine for yesterday then the who party itself.
What a Sweetheart!!
So all the work lack of rest all of it..was well worth it.
As moms do for their kids no matter what age they are always always our kids.
Oh and by the way...for you moms out there .
You know the ribbons...6 were broken.
I was informed...2 children maybe three would be perfect but 6 no way lol
I just had to chuckle about that.
Some how I see a Grandma in my future...but we won't tell them that lol Its funny but I see it forsure.
I gotta run. Pistons Basketball play in a bit.
Hubby is off and Kids on the way.

Yawns...man college hours are killer!!

I figured I would get up this morning and get on here post a few photos..and it never happened.
I was up early but went back to sleep around 11 for a few hours .Then got up went to the Mall...My Son wanted to go. He nearly walked my legs off. I was so tired..Was going to make him and his girl a big dinner..Told them nope and made tuna sandwiches instead.
I think it really didn't matter..no complains at all..Maybe better then Dorm food lol
Anyway, then was doing some research on some drugs looking for info on my last trial drugs..Seems the doctors don't know a hill of beans at times..So brought up a few sites that were of interest on that.
It was a beautiful day here in south eastern Michigan. One problem the crap apple trees are in bloom..They are beautiful but make me sneeze like crazy. Oh well won't belong and they won't have buds..
But it was a beautiful day...Just no energy to shot pictures today, Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
Seems quiet on the spaces today.

ITs been a really busy weekend. Hubby was off yesterday first time for the week..Geesh I hate that. So we went to lunch, then shopping for a bit.
Went looking for new cameras, just unable to decide what I want. Plus the cost is crazy..So came home did some research. Looking for 5 mgp and 10X zoom. So haven't made my mind up,just yet on that. Need an upgrade at this point.
Seems that will be a early birthday gift..when I do decide.
Did a few things with my daughter for the wedding and shower.
Then today goofed off, took a drive to the lake.
Drove around some of the old marinas. Problem can't down load things off my camera tonight.
So posted some photos from last spring.
Ludington Michigan. The pier the beach and down by the river.
Love to visit there so peaceful and just laid back.
Campared to living in the city like I do.
Anyways I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Normalcy

Normalcy...if you have not had illness in your life...there is so much noramlcy. I use to think before cancer..who life is just so nuts .I loved so many things and never could get a grasp on some things.
Now its strange what we reach for and grasp on to create a normal life.
I try really hard to put lots over cancer...If I made a list. You would see thats way at the bottom. But I can tell you that is the most life altering experience I have ever had.
Life isn't about things to create normalcy but about those around us and what they give to us .
I am a very rich person...and my life isn't about things .
Never has been about things.
Tonight I had a call from my hubby he has been at work three days straight ..This was a just want to know I love you call. Those are the calls I live for.
I look at my kids and think wow they are what gives me my future. That is a blessing.
It amazes me when I sit and just listen to others talk about life and hear what they think its about.
Something so terrible came in to my life years ago and that was cancer It wasn't when I got it..but my best friend. That is when I learned things don't mean a thing. I was young. then. I lived through many others getting it and seeing it. Helping others along the way..Then it hit home. Neither side caregiving or patient is easy.
The things is..when it does. Things don't matter anymore..essentials do.
Its those around us that give us the strength to endure.
So this week of normalcy with everyone here.
Was like a walk through tiffanys...and no money exchanged!!
* Alone we can do so little.
Together we can do so much.

Oh man.. Its been just so busy here!!
Today I didn't wake up till after 1 pm..Now thats not like me..But man the hours that these college kids keep...Omg!!! We watched a few movies after going out to dinner last night for my Sons Birthday. The next thing I look at the clock its 1:30 am. I look at my Son, his girlfriend both crashed out on the couch and snoring. My Daughter in the recliner snoring..And I am on the computer talking to people on line.
So I was in a hurry waking the Son up reminding him although your away all the time..Your girl still has a curfew when she is home...and her dad a shot gun. If she isn't home..
It was so darn fun..He is like hurry wake up ...call your Dad like right this minute..She was running around like a nut..I about died laughing at them..And my Daughter just is snoring through it all.
Anyway I got up this afternoon and of course they were all here again.. Talking and watching Big Ten Basketball.
My oldest Son and the lady friend he lives with ( a whole nother story another time) Stopped over for a bit. And then left cause he had to work.
Then I was thinking I need to get a move on and do a few things..My daughter comes home with a couple of the bridesmaids dresses..She was so excited. It was so funny just how excited she got.
I decide to use that excitement and said lets go out and look shower invites and some things for the shower
That was so much fun..Then we went to Applebees for dinner.
Then it hit me. My daughter will be married in less then in less then five months. It was so funny she looked at me and said *Mom I am going to be a Wife!! Now isn't that wierd!!* I had to laugh at her ..She was like OMG!!!
She is off with her girlfriends right now. Debating the issues of shoes and all those things they do to.
Anyway tomorrow we load up the Car to take a trip,,Back up to the University. Sighs. its been so much fun hate to see them go back.
Right now Hubby thinks ...and I don't want to jinx us...That he will have tomorrow off....I sure hope so!! Makes the trip up and back so much easier.
